Designed and coded on-line Accounts Receivable financing system for physicians using HCFA 1500 medical claims as collateral. The system included the tracking of lock box accounts, deposits and application of payments from payers and the transfer of funds to physicians by ACH transactions.
Project manager/programmer for setting up EDI for hospital, physician and dental claims from multiple sites through NEIC to Third Party Claims Management in Dallas, TX. This included setting up telecommunication protocol for both NEIC and TPCM, translating NEIC data sets to TPCM’s data set (ERISCO) and transmitting the claims to TPCM.
Coded on-line tracking of patient referral, eligibility and pre-authorization of services for a managed care environment (CIGNA HMO of Texas)
Project manager/programmer for designing system to control and report contracted plan for capitated and fee-for-service physicians. System incorporated on-line capture of claims via Tandem Pathway application and off-line display and reporting with SQL/PowerBuilder.
